Shit gets heavy in this new video from Trae Tha Truth and Kevin Gates. "Dark Angel," a cut from Trae's recent I Am King tape, is bleak enough as it is, but its video adds a whole new layer of unsettling darkness.
Gates introduces the song by going on an autotuned monologue about drugs decreasing his sex drive, and not even a cameo by his bro Lil Bibby can distract from the "I think I'm pregnant, and I think it's yours" text he receives.
By the time we meet Trae, he's out in the desert, brooding underneath crosses and ruminating on his mortality.
