In 2017, Trae Tha Truth dropped Tha Truth Pt.3. The project featured a posse cut called “I’m On 3.0,″ which boasts guest appearances from Dave East, Royce 5’9, T.I., Curren$y, Tee Grizzley, E-40, Styles P, Snoop Dogg, Fabolous, G-Eazy, Rick Ross, and Chamillionaire. DRAM, Mark Morrison, and Gary Clark Jr. handle the chorus. It took about two years for each artist to film the footage for their verses, but finally, Trae has blessed us with visuals for "I'm On 3.0."
“Putting this cut together was like a sparring session, survival of the fittest lyrically,” Trae stated to Complex. “Most importantly, this is a rare time that you will actually can see artists of various styles from the music industry in one video. The 'I’m On' series will always be historical.” There are also a number of guest appearances by rappers who aren't featured on the single, which makes "I'm On 3.0" a true posse cut.
