Tracy Morgan is showing "signs of improvement" as he leaves the hospital and enters a physical rehab facility.
Although it's likely a long road to complete recovery for comedian and actor Tracy Morgan, good news arrives today that Morgan has finally left the hospital and entered into a physical rehab facility.
As you probably know by now, Tracy Morgan was in critical condition following a horrible car accident on the New Jersey turnpike, which left a six-car pile up on June 7. The comedian was riding a limousine bus, which was completely overturned and resulted in the death of fellow comedian James McNair.
Tracy's rep says that the actor still has a long way's to go in rehab, however he is showing "signs of improvement." Morgan reportedly suffered several broken bones, including his femur, during the accident.
We will update you as more information on his condition arrives. We wish him all the best on his road to recovery.
[UPDATE: Tracy Morgan Is Out Of Rehab]
Good news for Tracy Morgan, as the comedian continues to make strides following his critical injuries in a car accident back in June. Morgan's publicist confirmed this past weekend that Morgan has left the inpatient rehab center he was recovering at in New Jersey.
"Tracy has been released from the rehabilitation center and will continue his recovery efforts at home with an aggressive outpatient program," publicist Lewis Kay said. "He asked me to pass along his sincerest gratitude to everyone who has helped him get to this point. He would also appreciate some privacy during this crucial point in his recovery."
On June 7th, a driver of a Wal-Mart truck fell asleep at the wheel and lost control of his vehicle, colliding into the limo bus that Tracy Morgan was riding in, killing a fellow comedian James McNair, and injuring Morgan, his assistant, and another comedian. Morgan filed a lawsuit against Wal-Mart last week.
