We've recently had the pleasure of spending some time with Toronto's own Tory Lanez, who came through for a wide-ranging interview. Over the course of forty-one minutes, the ever-down-to-Earth Tory spoke about his family, his upcoming music, and more. If you haven't caught that yet, be sure to load it up next time you're looking for something to watch, especially if you're a fan of Tory's music. And from the way his material tends to score consistent "VERY HOTTT" user rankings without fail, it's safe to say there are legion.
Now, the legacy of Tory Lanez continues to expand with our latest premiere, the fourth episode of his PSA docuseries. In the seven and a half minute clip, Tory spends some time performing in both Jamaica and Canada, explaining that he's worked his way to success, spilling a healthy combination of blood, sweat, and tears along the way.
It should be noted that the cinematography from Tory's camera squad is most definitely a highlight. A constant blue tint washes over the footage, giving the whole episode an isolate, underwater aesthetic. It's the perfect visual counterpart for the ongoing story arc, in which Tory' and his entire performance runs the risk of unraveling due to an unfortunate gaffe. Anybody who's ever been on the road, or even performed live locally can attest to the constant threat of Murphy's Law. It doesnt' seem as if Tory is immune to the mischievous whims of Murphy the eternal ass-pain, but he sure can put up one hell of a fight.
"We don't even have the fuckin' tour laptop, and our sound man's not even here," says Tory, setting the stage for every musician's worst nightmare. The footage is uncensored, raw, and brutally honest. Exactly what you want from a music documentary.
