In the wake of dropping two albums this year, Tory Lanez has taken a moment to chop it up with the legendary radio personality Tim Westwood. Though we're not far removed from his recent Love Me Now? album, the last we've heard from Tory was on 6ix9ine's DUMMY As such, it's no wonder the Canadian rapper had much to say on Tekashi's ongoing situation.

For one, both Tim Westwood and Tory Lanez alike are quick to vouch for 6ix9ine's character. "Very good guy, very good kid man," says Tory. "The thing about it is every time Iseen him, he's always joking around. He's such a funny kid." He proceeds to compare the personalities of both 6ix9ine and Trippie Redd, whom he considers both the homies. "They both have similar personalities to a certain extent," explains Tory. "But with 6ix, behind all of the extra shit, he's a really funny, genuine, warm-hearted kid."

Tory proceeds to draw another interesting comparison, though many will likely twist his words. "It's really sad to see somebody at that platform...it kinda reminds me of, like, Bobby Shmurda. But Bobby Shmurda didn't even get to go as far. For somebody to go that far, you got Kanye, Nicki Minaj, your album's dropping," explains Tory. "It's like, the only n***a who had shit like that popping was 2Pac. When 2Pac was in jail he dropped the biggest album. Not to say it was the biggest album of all fucking time, but it was a pretty big moment. It's sad he's gotta be locked up during it, is all I'm saying."

Tory also recaps his Joyner Lucas feud, citing an imaginary closet full of belts, which he reserves for doling out punishment to his sons. "There's ones I've stitched certain names into," says Tory. "Stop that my son, just relax." Peep the full interview for more.
