It doesn't look like a Kendrick Lamar album is in the works, despite what rumors are saying.

Over the past couple months, Top Dawg has been dropping hints that new music from the TDE camp is right around the corner, most recently saying he had a couple more projects on the way for this year. Ironically, just a couple days ago rumors started to pick up that K. Dot could be one of those two projects after TDE rapper Isaiah Rashad said he heard a new Kendrick Lamar album recently in the studio, but unfortunately it doesn’t look to be true anymore.

On Tuesday night, the TDE President, Anthony "Top Dawg" Tiffith, jumped on Instagram and let everyone know emphatically that Kendrick does not have an album coming any time soon.

"ATT: KDOT DON'T HAVE A NEW ALBUM COMING NO TIME SOON," he wrote in all-caps, while leaving the caption “Top Dawg has spoken.”

While Kendrick will be shelved until he’s “inspired again” as Top Dawg put it, TDE fans can look forward to hearing a new album from Schoolboy Q in the meantime, who’s just about finished with his next body of work. No word yet as for when that’ll be dropping, but all signs are pointing to very soon, like next month or two.

Check out Top Dawg’s IG post (below) and keep it locked for further updates. Could Top Dawg being trying to cover up spilled news or is he telling the truth here you think?
