Once again, the Yours Truly and adidas originals #songsfromscratch series has resulted in a dope collaboration, this time between two singers on the rise. Previous "songs from scratch" include the Shlohmo and Jeremih collabo "Bo Peep (Do U Right)" as well as Chance The Rapper and Nosaj's "Paranoia."
For the latest collabo, Yours Truly and adidas connected two female artists, Chicago's Tink and L.A.'s Kelela, together over production from DJ Dahi (responsible for "Worst Behavior" and "Money Trees").
In the BTS of the making of the record, we find out how it all came together, including Tink's rap verse which was added in the session's final hours.
"When I was listening to it the first time, I was singing," Tink says. "Once I heard the piano, it made me rap. That's what's great about Dahi—his beats transform." You can watch the BTS below.
