There are definitely a few advantages to being a Timbaland protégé. He's obviously got a rich hip-hop history, and a serious catalogue of beats, which Tink has benefited from. In addition to getting some pretty hot beats from Timbo (like on "Around the Clock" and "Ratchet Commandments"), she's also been able to safely re-make an Aaliyah classic. When Drake attempted to do this without a Timbo and Missy co-sign there was definitely some backlash, but with Timbaland's blessing, the Chicago artist has re-worked "One In A Million" with "Million."
