It’s been a minute since we last heard from Tink. In fact, the last time the female Chicago rapper impacted our site was back in March when she released her Pain & Pleasure EP, but thankfully that drought ends here today. With no warning, Tink decides to come through and share a new sunny video for her song “M.I.A.”
“I’m just kind of singing about being M.I.A. with your boo. You know, going on vacation and getting lost in time,” she says about the record, and that video represents just that. Directed by Damien Sandoval, the video brings Tink’s vision of being “missing in action” with your significant other to life. “He had the idea of a couple robbing a bank on a Bonnie and Clyde vibe, and we kind of just get lost in Mexico,” Tink says of the video & Damien’s work.
