Britney Spears Feat. Tinashe
HOTTTTT
A few weeks ago, Tinashe teased fans of an upcoming collaboration with Britney Spears when she posted a pic of the two on Instagram, along with the caption “The face you make when the rumors are true and you collabed with your idol #Slumberparty.” And now we have that outcome.

Tinashe's JOYRIDE, her follow-up to her 2014 debut Aquarius, has been in the rollout stages for over a year now. After many excellent singles, there's been no sign of the project, but this week, she surprised fans with NIGHTRIDE, which seems to be the precursor to the impending project. A return to her darker mixtape roots, the project plays like the more intimate side of the singer's sound, presumably saving the poppier moments for the album proper.

With little in the way of advance notice, Tinashe delivered a new mixtape at Midnight. NIGHTRIDE is a precursor to her long-awaited sophomore album, JOYRIDE, although in a letter to fans Tinashe revealed she's been working on this project in tandem with JOYRIDE, for the past two years. It sounds like both album are equally important to her, although this one is being dubbed as a mixtape (commercially released).

Production duo GTA, comprised of Julio Mejia and Matt Toth, are gearing up to release their self-titled debut album, Good Times Ahead, on October 7th. It's safe to say if you're not yet familiar with their name (or immediately/only think of Grand Theft Auto), that'll change very soon. The DJ-ing duo call upon a few hip-hop and r'n'b artists through out Good Times Ahead, including Tinashe on this collaboration "All Caught Up." Tunji Ige appears on "Feel It," and Vince Staples on "Little Bit Of This," both songs previously leaked.

Tinashe's "Superlove" video is the greatest thing since sliced bread. Her next release "Company" has now found its way online, and it represents a complete 180 from the slick, '80s-influenced beach vibes of "Superlove."

Tinashe's sophomore album, JOYRIDE, has suffered some delays, and while it's been without a release date for some time, the release of the sunny Dream and Tricky Stewart-assisted "Superlove" suggested it could arrive soon.

Amidst Birds In The Trap Sing McKnight hype, Tinashe took to her Soundcloud to drop off an exclusive remix of Rihanna's ANTI bonus cut, "Sex With Me." According to the singer, sex with her is also super #exclusive, unlike Rihanna's description of sex with her being "amazing." Tinashe keeps the feel of RiRi's original record intact, including a similar interpretation of Rihanna's flow and cadence on the cut. She adds her own flares to be sure, although is it enough? Do you think she was able to top Rihanna's original record?

Tinashe has busted out the heavy artillery on her last two Joyride singles "Ride of Your Life" and "Energy", produced respectively by Metro Boomin and Mike Will Made-It. Last night, a new Tinashe track by the name of "Bullet" found its way onto the interwebs.

Tinashe's Joyride feels more imminent than ever. With plans to head out on tour next month, the singer has now shared a new record from the project, teaming once again with Mike WiLL Made It (who provided "Thug Cry" on Aquarius) as well as Juicy J for "Energy".

While Tinashe's sophomore album JOYRIDE has experienced a few delays, her "Player" single still bangs. New York producer Jai Wolf decided he'd capitalize on the song's popularity with a new remix, which retains the basic feeling of the original Max Martin production but kicks things up a notch via a broad array of shimmering synths.

R. Kelly's 13th studio album The Buffet is out at the end of the week, but the legendary songwriter has decided to release one more record before the LP impacts. "Lets Be Real Now" unites him with Tinashe, and once again proves that Kells has the versatility to keep up with the current wave of R&B artists. The duet is reminiscent of Drake and Rihanna's "Take Care," incorporating some electronic elements and some driving timpanis.

Tinashe dropped off "Party Favors" with Young Thug recently, but that was just a warm-up. The singer took to Instagram to let us know that her first official radio single from her sophomore album, JOYRIDE, would be arriving on October 2nd-- it's arrived a day early, and it's definitely targeting radio play.

While Tinashe works on her highly anticipated sophomore album, Joyride, she throws us a curveball with her cover of an indie-rock song by Bleachers' "I Wanna Get Better." Jack Antonoff (also known for his role in groups Fun. and Steel Train, and his role as Lena Dunham's boyfriend), is releasing a new Bleachers compilation where all of his music receives a cover from a different female singer-- apart from Tinashe there are also covers from Carly Rae Jepsen, Brooke Candy, Charli XCX and more. The project is called Terrible Thrills Vol.

Tinashe's going full steam ahead with the rollout for her sophomore album, Joyride, and while we're sure to hear some bright pop moments from the LP (which features contributions from Dr. Luke, Max Martin, and Nic Nac), she's begun the new era with a dark, heavy record with assistance from a solid cast of beatmakers (Boi-1da, Illangelo, Vinylz, and Allen Ritter).

Tinashe’s latest single, “All Hands On Deck”, has been tearing up the charts and airwaves recently, thanks in part to the Kanye West-cosigned music video that she dropped last month which attracted the necessary attention.
