Before heading out on her upcoming Joyride World Tour, which kicks off next week in Minnesota, Tinashe decides to link up with Target and provide the vocals to their new Spring ad-campaign.

Instead of something new however, the Cali singer was asked to cover Tom Tom Club’s 1981 hit single “Genius of Love,” which shouldn’t be confused with Mariah Carey’s smash hit “Fantasy.” Serving as the follow up to “Ride Of You Life,” the song should definitely help hold fans over until her upcoming sophomore album, Joyride, arrives.

While we wait for further details on the album to surface, take a listen to Tinashe & DJ Cassidy’s new cover.

Quotable Lyrics:

I'm in heaven
With my boyfriend, my loving boyfriend
There's no beginning and there is no end
(One time) Time isn't present in that dimension
