Timberlake's SNL performance included a veiled response to a recent Kanye rant targeting his "Suit & Tie" single with Jay-Z.

During one of his recent rants at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, Kanye West expressed his dislike for Justin Timberlake's "Suit & Tie" single, despite the fact that his close friend and collaborator Jay-Z is featured on the track. "I got love for Hov, but I aint fuckin' with that 'Suit & Tie'" were his exact words.

Two weeks later, the former 'N Sync frontman responded during a performance of the single on last night's episode of Saturday Night Live. The song includes the line "Shit so sick, got a hit and picked up a habit", which Timberlake changed to “My hit's so sick, got rappers acting dramatic.” Moments later, Jay joined him on stage to perform his verse.
