Timbaland's new book "The Emperor Of Sound" will be available later this month.

Timbaland has had a long and extremely successful career, working with the likes of Jodeci, Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, Jay Z, Justin Timberlake, and producing some of the most influential music of the last twenty years.

Later this month, fans can get the inside scoop on Timbo's storied past when he releases his memoir The Emperor Of Sound. Co-written with Veronica Chambers, the hardcover book will provide a look inside the mind of one of our generations great songwriters.

From Amazon:

The Emperor of Sound is an exclusive look at this talented artist and his extraordinary career. Here, as unexpected as much of what he creates, is an introspective memoir, revealing a modest and God-fearing man with an intense appreciation for the creative process, a humility for his musical gifts, and a unique understanding of what he calls “the science of hearing.”

The book hits shelves November 17th, and will coincide with a BackStory event at at the Highline Ballroom in NYC, where Timbaland will join Brad Tolinski in conversation. The talk happens November 18th and tickets are available here.

The book is now available for pre-order. Take a look at the cover (which, strangely, of all his accomplishments bills him as the music producer of Empire) in the gallery above.
