It's been a while since Timbaland's dropped solo material, with his focus being more on developing the career of his most recent signee, Tink. But after appearing on her recent tape Winter's Diary 3, Timbo is finally getting to releasing the first music from his upcoming album Opera Noir, announced over a year ago. Here's "Smile," featuring "Empire" actress V. Bozeman.
More soulful and less radio-ready than most of the material on either of his Shock Value albums, this track has Timbo splitting time on the mic with Bozeman, making use of auto-tune that's a little less cringeworthy than you might expect.
