Following the leak of Aaliyah’s first posthumous track “Enough Said” featuring Drake, with production by Noah “40” Shebib, a lot of outcry was heard as people were disappointed that Timbaland and Missy Elliot weren’t attached.  Rumors had Drake producing an Aaliyah album, but no mention of the late singers close friends, and musical collaborators Timbo, and Missy.

Even Timbaland commented saying that it would not be right to release an Aaliyah record without his involvement, "I know they trying to drop some Aaliyah records, but if [Drake] do it, it should be with me and him, and Missy.  I don't know what's going on.  For it to be on his record, that would not be right."

Now, according to a source (from MissInfo), Timbaland will be involved in the project.  Details have surfaced that Drake was not the one who leaked the "Enough Said", and that it was actually Aaliyah's label, Blackground Records - which is owned by her uncle, Barry Hankerson - that released the track.

Apparently, Drake is only going to be featured on one track with the majority of the songs being produced by Noah "40" Shebib, but at least two songs will be produced by Timbaland.  No word on Missy Elliot's involvement, but if Timbaland is attached it's a good sign that Missy will be involved in some capacity.
