Pimp C's posthumous album Long Live the Pimp officially drops this Friday, December 4th, the 8th anniversary of his tragic death. Until then, the album is now available to stream on Apple Music. The album is the first all-new Pimp C project in four years. The songs released so far have all been of high quality. Last month, T.I. surprised fans by dropping a 5-track EP, Da' Nic. The EP dropped on Sept. 11, and in a new interview with MTV, Tip said that he had decided to create the EP just over a week before that. He went on to explain that Da' Nic wouldn't have happened if he wasn't a newly independent artist.

T.I. has been selected to give a speech at the 2015 Triumph Awards in Atlanta, which recognizes outstanding achievements in humanitarian services. Though T.I. has been a vocal leader of the Black Lives Matter movement, his latest spoken word performance, which you can see below, targets the limitations of social media activism, which he feels is often more narcissistic than objectively productive.  The ceremony was filmed today and will be screened tomorrow. The performance shows Tip's skills both as an orator and as a poet.

It looks like we'll be seeing more T.I. on the small screen, as he's just signed a talent holding/development deal with Warner Bros. Television, reports Deadline Hollywood.  Tip currently has his own VH1 reality show, "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle," which finished its fifth season in August. He has also had recent recurring roles on Showtime's "House of Lies" and Starz's "Boss."

T.I. recently brought Iggy Azalea back into the headlines when he, as a guest on Ebro in the Morning, implied that he was sick of "blocking bullets" for the Australian rapper: "Now when I say, 'Go'…go. Don't stand around and talk while I'm blocking bullets. You slowing me down," said Tip, presumably referring to when he tried to defend Iggy against accusations of cultural appropriation from rappers like Azealia Banks and Q-Tip.

Two lesser-known rappers are calling out T.I., claiming the Grand Hustle boss owes big money to the estate of late rapper Doe B, who signed to Grand Hustle in 2012 and was killed in December 2013 at age 22.  A rapper named Shaka posted an Instagram picture showing two tweets from rapper Perry Boi of the Choppaz, Bricks & Money crew, of which Doe B was also affiliated. The first tweet read, "FUCK #HUSTLEGANG," and the next (since deleted) tweet alleged that T.I. owed Doe B $100,000.
