T.I. On Iggy Azalea's Twitter Beefs: "I Think She Should Focus On What Got Her Here"
Iggy Azalea has always been pretty vocal towards her haters on social media, but the last few months have certainly spawned more feuds than usual for the Australian rapper. Iggy's gone head-to-head with the similarly filter-less Azealea Banks, HOT 97's resident troll Ebro Darden, and most recently clothing brand Steve Madden over the last little while, with the rapper's constant controversies seeming to take precedence over her music. Azalea's mentor, T.I.

Responding to Q-Tip, who sent Azalea a long-winded history lesson on social media earlier this week, Tip decided to share his feelings on white people in the hip-hop industry, claiming "not all white people out to steal our culture." He then addressed Iggy herself, telling his protege not to let the negativity get her down--that it's "a part of the territory."
Catching Cases: Rappers Locked Up Too Early In Their Career
Rap and jail time have had a close relationship ever since the Fat Boys rhymed about doing time for holding up a pizza place. Unfortunately, prison bids have stymied many promising careers over rap music's history. For every Tupac "out on bail, fresh outta jail, California dreamin'" there's five rap stars whose careers never recovered after doing time.

Charts Don’t Lie: November 30
This week on the charts proves to be rather uneventful, as there are no new entries to speak of, although G-Eazy was able to re-enter with These Things Happen. Cadillactica, on the other hand, experienced a steep drop from its top 5 debut.

10 Artists We'd Like Kanye West To Executive Produce Albums For
Kanye West has been juggling a lot as of late. He’s been raising his fashion-forward and absolutely adorable daughter, tearing down numerous Fashion Week shows, designing his capsule collection for adidas and putting the finishing touches on his as-of-yet untitled seventh solo album. Aside from all of that, Ye has also reportedly been busy executive producing forthcoming albums from Tyga and French Montana. If history is any indication, it’s safe to assume that we should have a lot of good music (no pun intended) to look forward to within the next few months.

Charts Don't Lie: November 9
This week something quite significant went down on the Billboard 200, albeit it's outside of the genre of hip-hop. Taylor Swift basically broke the mold and sold over 1 million copies of her new album, 1989, in turn giving her the highest sales in one week since 2002. That's twelve years ago. There is a small hip-hop connection here, because the last album that sold just over 1 million, in 2002, was Eminem's The Eminem Show. Anyways, with T Swift's chart takeover, a lot of our hip-hop dudes got pushed down.
Charts Don’t Lie: November 2
This week the race between T.I. and Logic for the top spot on the Billboard 200 comes to a close. Many fans have been anticipating the competition between the OG and the newcomer, and the final tally finds Tip coming out ahead by less than 10,000 copies. Paperwork didn't nab the #1 spot but finagled #2 with 80k copies. Under Pressure comes up under T.I. at #4 with a solid 72k. Both rappers performed better than expected. However, when it comes to long term maintenance, we have a feeling Logic may eventually conquer Paperwork.

According to the CDC, "The spread of Ebola between people occurs only by direct contact with the blood or body fluids of a person after symptoms have developed." A Jeezy & T.I. Joint Album May Actually Be On The Way
Tip and Jeezy have been teasing us with the idea of a joint project for years, but now it looks like it may actually come to fruition.
Samples Of The Week: October 30
When hip-hop began, samples were all that DJs and producers had to construct instrumental tracks with. They'd dig through crates of vinyl trying to find isolated drum breaks, melodies or vocals that they could repurpose for use in hip-hop music. Today, sampling has become less common, but a choice sample can still push a track from lukewarm to hot faster than you can say "uh-huh honey". This week, see who Drake, T.I. and Que & Problem sampled on their recent tracks, all of which can be found on HNHH.
T.I.'s "Paperwork" Tops Logic's "Under Pressure" For First Week Sales
After much speculation on the race between T.I. and Logic for the top Billboard spot, Tip's Paperwork album has come out the winner, although he wasn't quite able to attain a #1 debut.
