T.I. speaks on his relationship with New York up-and-comer Troy Ave, and whether or not he will be officialy joining the Hustle Gang label.

Troy Ave has certainly been showing up on plenty of Hustle Gang records as of late, and speculation has grown that the New York purist has signed with T.I.'s label. In an interview with Rap-Up, T.I. stressed that while he could not confirm whether or not there are in talks a signing, he was confident that Troy is very much a part of the crew.

“Never mind the paperwork, I can’t really speak for the deals or the solidification of a professional relationship, but personally he’s definitely Hustle Gang. That’s something that I feel comfortable saying," said Tip, letting no information go while still alluding to the fact that signing Troy is still a strong possibility.

"He’s a solid cat," Tip said of the rapper who recently appeared alongside him on the Hustle Gang "Try Me" remix. "He has something that New York has been missing for quite some time and he’s not afraid to be a New Yorker. I salute him for that early on.”
