Fresh off his powerful performance at this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards, T.I. made his way by the ESPN studios on Thursday and stopped by “First Take” to chop it up on-air.

Sitting down with Stephen A. Smith & Max Kellerman, the Atlanta rapper/actor talked about his newly-released Us Or Else EP, police brutality on minorities, the state of America, and steps the government needs to take to see change. In addition to all that, Tip also touched on the hot topic of Colin Kaepernick and his silent kneeling during the national anthem.

Check it all out above.
