T.I. recently brought Iggy Azalea back into the headlines when he, as a guest on Ebro in the Morning, implied that he was sick of "blocking bullets" for the Australian rapper: "Now when I say, 'Go'…go. Don't stand around and talk while I'm blocking bullets. You slowing me down," said Tip, presumably referring to when he tried to defend Iggy against accusations of cultural appropriation from rappers like Azealia Banks and Q-Tip.

It seems Tip thinks that Iggy's continued efforts to defend herself, instead of letting Tip handle the situation for her, only caused her (and himself) more negative press.

Iggy soon responded via Twitter and said that Tip's words came as a shock to her and that, up until that point, she had thought they were still amicable business partners.

Following Iggy's response, T.I. has spoken to The Associated Press and clarified that Azalea is still a part of his team and that he still plans to work with her on her next album.

"That's still my partner. Her life has taken her in a different direction. My life is still as it was before. But Iggy is doing what she feels makes Iggy happy. That's what she should do. We're focused on making the next Iggy record and dodge the same adversities we faced last time."

"It's definitely not a 'sever my ties, walk away, I'm upset' thing," Tip continued. "It was more so like, OK, you have a lot on your plate right now. I'm going to pull back or wait until you come to a place where you're ready to come back to the table, so we can start again and make history some more."

Do you think it's a smart move for Tip to keep rocking with Iggy?
