theWHOevers are a duo from Chicago who are making their HNHH debut today with a a little gem called "TreeHouse." Produced by Ka-Yu, who hails from the Netherlands, the track sounds like a J Dilla homage with its slightly off-kilter, but still remarkably smooth sound.

Over a chopped sample of piano and a woman's vocals, DotKom and J. Arthur recount their time spent struggling to make it in the Windy City, kicking off with the former saying that he's "in the street/Feeling hungry got nothing to eat." Hopefully dope tracks like this will ensure that theWHOevers become somebodies and can afford to live comfortably.

Quotable Lyrics

I remember just being honest
I remember when we beat the Sonics
The Chi Town '96 swerve
Shit how you rep the city when you from the 'burbs
I ain't mad get it how you get it
This life's too short I ain't even bitchin'
