Theophilus London returns with a sequel to 2011's Lover's Holiday EP. The project arrives not-so-accidentally in time for Valentine's day, and features an eclectic cast of features including Blood Orange (songwriting collaborator of Solange), Leon Ware, and The Force MDs.
The song features a preview of a song that Kanye West apparently did some arrangements for ("Do Girls"), as well as a gender-flipping Jolene cover which substitutes the titular character with none other than the Based God.
Theophilus London continues to impress with each new project, and the Lover's Holiday EP is no exception. It strengthens his already impressive body of work, which has seen positive change over the years. We're most definitely anticipating his next offering.
Look out for more from London very soon. His Vibezz project is due out later this year. Stayed tuned, ladies and gentlemen.
