H-Boogie was born Michael Hairston on Dec. 13, 1989 in his hometown of St. Augustine, FL. After spending most of his youth focused on sports, he discovered his ear for music and quickly found a love for it. A year and a half later Boogie began not only listening to music, but rather attempted to make it. Armed with a laptop, a cheap USB mic, and a pair of headphones, Boogie set out to perfect his art and grow as an artist. With each song came better flows, more elaborate vocab, and a better understanding of how to perfect tracks and turn hot verses into complete songs. Towards the middle of 2010, Boogie & fellow St Augustine icon David Frost were invited to go on tour all over the state. Since then snowball effect has taken its toll and the two are now steadily making a name for themselves around town, state, and country
