The Weeknd grew up in Toronto, so he knows a thing or two about harsh, cold-ass winters that require thick winter coats and Timberland's, if you will. The "Call Out My Name" singer may have switched the Timbs for his self-designed PUMA boots and may mostly reside in sunny Los Angeles, but he's still the same old House of Ballons singer who gets nostalgic when there's a snowfall.
Abel Tesfaye hit up Instagram today and shared a photo of him walking his dog in a snow-ridden city that we assume is New York or Toronto considering that it's snowing in both cities as we type this. "I can’t lie, I missed the hell outta this," he wrote alongside the photo. His Instagram story boasted some of the same photos, with one video that showed him cruising down the streets playing the 1969 track "Laughing" by The Guess Who.
The Weeknd was in Toronto not too long ago to launch his HXOUSE initiative, a talent space designed to help Canadian creatives and entrepreneurs get mentored and assisted as they turn their ideas into reality.
