Common explains how his new single, "Kingdom" came together.

Common's long awaited follow up to Finding Forever is finally arriving this year, and the new single, "Kingdom" is a promising look at what's to come.

Working once again with No I.D., Common also recruited Vince Staples for the track, which added a new dimension to the song. In a new video telling the story of how "Kingdom" came together, Common explains how he gathered a local choir to lay down some vocals on the epic track, as well as his first time hearing the original sample.

Nobody's Smiling, the new record from Common will be available July 22nd, and will feature guest appearances from Chi-town up-and-comers King Louie and G-Count, among others.
