As the week unwinds in a particularly dramatic fashion (Jussie Smollett 🤯🤯🤯), we've readied a brand new edition of our Discovery playlist. This Soundcloud-perfect playlist is curated with a rather specific intention; to lead the charge in undiscovered names that dwell in the Soundcloud underbelly. There is a range, to be sure, with some artists on the playlists spanning only 120 followers, while others are upwards of 10,000. We're just doing our part in ensuring dope music gets heard (!).
This time, we dove into the e-mail we established for The Discovery Channel submissions (and feel free to e-mail/submit a song any time: thediscoverychannelplaylist@gmail.com), but we'll be perfectly/bluntly honest: there was a lot of trash. There was also Drixxie, song #3 on the playlist, so shout out to him.
Beyond that, we scoured Soundcloud pages and recommendations and related tracks and everywhere else that might lead; as well as getting suggestions from our team of writers.
