The Diplomats have been gearing up to release their reunion album for a minute at this point. After performing at RapCaviar Live in NYC with the A$AP Mob, they revealed they were working on a new album and an accompanying documentary. While it's been over a year since they initially announced the project, we're finally less than a week away from the release of Diplomatic Ties. They've yet to reveal the cover art or tracklist, but Freekey Zekey and Jim Jones recently revealed that they linked up with some of their contemporaries as well as the younger generation for The Diplomats' Diplomatic Ties.

During an interview with Nessa Nitty at Hot97, Freekey Zekey, and Jim Jones revealed some of the names we could expect on the forthcoming Dipset album. Jones revealed that they have some of the names attached to the project such as Tory Lanez, The LOX, Belly, 2 Chainz, Dave East, Don Q, and Murda Beatz, who produced the track with the XO rapper.

Over the past year, Dipset has only released a handful of singles to build the anticipation for their new album. Last year, they released the single, "Once Upon A Time" and shortly after, they dropped their contribution to the Uncle Drew soundtrack, "Stronger." Earlier this month, the Harlem collection released their track, "Sauce Boyz" along with a new music video.
