That One Kid David , also known as REX Wonder is a spoken word poet/rapper from Pasadena , California. He goes by the name REX as a poet because he feels that his poetry must bring out his true emotions and ideals on the world. "that one kid david" as he calls himself for his music defines him as "just another regular looking kid". The name has come from the idea that his community and surrounding influences see him as just another "kid". Not knowing what he truly is inside. David started poetry at an early age only to get more serious in the first year of high school starting a spoken word poetry team by the name of PTL Crew aka Poetry To Linguistics. That same year he started getting serious about a music career, by consistently writing new lyrics and challenging school wide freestylers and so claimed "rappers". He recorded his first studio song "Done." in May, 2010. Since then he has been working every minute to change the world with word, either with his hip hop lyrics or his intricate poetry.
