Harlem born and bred rapper Teyana Taylor has been teasing her forthcoming project The Album for months. Fans have been waiting on pins and needles for this long-awaited record, but if all rumors are true, we should expect The Album sometime this month. Teyana has recently shared her singles "Made It" and "Bare Wit Me," two vastly different tracks as the former is a celebratory single for 2020 graduates and the latter has more of a sensual feel.

On Friday (June 12), Teyana Taylor returns with another banger titled "Wake Up Love." The song features her husband Iman Shumpert as he displays his rapping skills for the masses once again. The couple previously shared that they spent their quarantine locked in their studios cranking out new music, so it's no surprise to hear them on a track together. Spotify currently has this song listed with a feature by "Iman Nunez," but that's another rapper altogether. Check "Wake Up Love" by Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert and let us know what you think.

Quotable Lyrics

One thing's for certain
Need you right here in my arms, baby I'm yearnin'
But I think I got a bone to pick with you (You)
Lately I've been wonderin' what's with you (You)
I need you to hear me, baby
