Tekashi 6ix9ine's legal troubles have been looming over him throughout his entire career but due to his actions, his pending legal cases grew. The rapper was in court earlier today in Houston. Although there wasn't anything major that occurred during today's hearing, his lawyer is reportedly working hard to get the case dropped.

According to The Blast, 6ix9ine's attorney is working with the prosecutors to get his case in Houston dropped. The rapper was in court after he was accused of choking a Santiago Albarran earlier this year at a Houston mall. The rapper was arrested last month after he landed in JFK airport from his European tour.

6ix9ine showed up to court earlier today after he was spotted in Miami last night. The rapper showed up to court in the same fit he was rocking in the club the evening prior. Ahead of his hearing, the rapper was seen on a Miami beach with two models in a bikini as he was reportedly shooting a music video, Page Six reports.

If prosecutors dismiss his Houston case, the rapper will still have to face a judge in New York for his sexual misconduct against a minor case. The D.A. recommended 6ix9ine serve one to three years behind bars and register as a sex offender after he violated the terms of his plea agreement. Earlier today, he asked the judge to banish his stage name from being used in the trial.
