Tekashi 6ix9ine and manager Tr3yway spent the past week out of sight out of mind. They celebrated a birthday in Hawaii while the press and law enforcement seized up much of their borderline criminal activity. The heat over the reported gunplay at the Barclays Center had led to Tekashi and his handlers losing valuable sponsorship deals and alliances. Then again, the controversy should open up other avenues for the rapper and his team to explore. As for the incident itself, both Casanova and Tr3yway seem to have made headway in pushing their differences onto the side of caution, based on word from Tr3yway himself.

During an appearance on IG live, Tr3yway addressed his camp's contentious status in the streets. First he gave a shout out to pal Tekashi, then in a surprising twist offered Adrien Broner a pledge of support before bracing himself for a big announcement. Tr3way pretended to forget his train of thought so as to feign offhandedness. The news he signed on to confess was and I quote, and end to Tekashi's beef with Casanova, his air of nonchalance suggesting it was never a big deal to begin with. Tr3yway confirmed that a single conversation was enough to remedy the situation. Were they fighting over flags, turf, supremacy or was it all just a hoax? We may never know.
