TDE's Punch is usually holding things down in the background at the West Coast label but he's also flexed his microphone skills on numerous occasions. He was heard on several earlier TDE albums from Kendrick Lamar and ScHoolboy Q. However, in the past few months, he's also released a lot more solo music. Today, he comes through with something for the people titled, "Blood Under The Sun."
Punch is back with his new track, "Blood Under The Sun." He explained that he didn't want to release any more music for a while but he wanted to drop this off for anyone who needs it. On his latest track, Punch touches on mental health, addiction and more.
"I said I wasn't going to drop anymore music for a second, but I felt compelled to give this one out to anyone who need it. its a tough time right now and it will continue to be until... this is just something to possibly help deal." He wrote in the song's description.
The track was produced by HB with iamnobodi holding down the hook.
