For a minute, there was some confusion around the release of Jay Rock's 90059, with the LP sitting in somethong of a pre-release purgatory. This weekend, Top Dawg finally pulled the trigger on the album, announcing a September 11th release. With the drop date in sight, TDE has released a short documentary on the making of the album today, interviewing Rock about the project.

After an exclusive listening party this weekend, TDE's most underrated member has shared the ambitious new video for the track, which opens with a SZA-helmed number, as the singer drives a restrained Rock through the neighborhood, and eventually to the video's next scene, where the titular track begins.

We still don't have any solid details on Jay Rock's long-delayed album, but with two immensely promising tracks being shared in the past few months ("Gumbo" and "Money Trees Deuce"), we can only hope that it's actually on track for a 2015 release. Adding fuel to the fire is a video showing Rock in the studio playing new music, recently shared by TDE CEO Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith on his Twitter.
