Top Dawg Entertainment always keeps us on our toes, and we’ve all learned our lesson after they pulled the bait and switch by dropping new Kendrick when it was literally the last thing on everyone’s minds. Label CEO Anthony Tiffith is teasing us again, tweeting out very recently that he “will drop something when my plane touchdown in LA 2nite… kool?”

Are Drake & Kendrick Lamar Planning A Collaboration? Mar 18, 2016 at 05:41pm
Rumors are circulating online suggesting that there could be a collaboration brewing between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Many have presumed there to be a longstanding beef between the two rappers, though much of that narrative is likely the result of the media being unable to resist the temptation of pitting the game's two biggest stars against one another.
Review: Kendrick Lamar's "Untitled Unmastered"
Review: Kendrick Lamar's "Untitled Unmastered" Mar 9, 2016 at 06:04pm
B-sides, bonus tracks, and outtakes are usually released to show us the sides of artists that we don't get on their standard commercial projects. Whether it's studio banter, unfinished sketches, failed genre experiments, or alternate versions, these tracks are windows into the minds of those who usually give us polished, exhaustively edited final products-- unscripted, unfiltered, uncut. When it's your everyday run-of-the-mill rapper, outtakes might contain stuff you'd otherwise never hear from the artist in question.

TDE Co-President Punch Plans To Finally Release An Album Mar 8, 2016 at 01:38pm
TDE co-president Terrence "Punch" Henderson stays behind the scenes most of the time, operating alongside CEO Anthony Tiffith in the shadows. When he does come out of the shadows, it’s to release the occasional musical track. Punch appears on Kendrick Lamar’s recent untitled unmastered. on track 5 of the album to contribute a verse, and this time he won’t be ducking back into the background so quickly.

28 Grams: Hip-Hop Instagram Recap (March 5) Mar 5, 2016 at 10:30am
Lots of exciting stuff going down on Instagram this week. First off, we got an update on ALL of the upcoming TDE releases, and surprisingly, it was Kendrick's album that came through first (though it seems Q, Isaiah, Sza, and Soulo aren't far behind). We also got a brief update on Drake's Views From The 6 through a photo of Drizzy's creative partner, 40, stocking up with supplies to camp out in the studio (and to keep it Canadian, a Tim Horton's cup in hand).

UPDATE: The album, untitled unmastered., has landed on Spotify (see above screenshot), but the stream isn't working...yet. Many are expecting the stream to become available at midnight, as was the case with To Pimp a Butterfly. Judging by the album artwork, it doesn't look like anything will change with regard to all the "untitled" tracks, but keep it locked here for more updates.

TDE President Dave Free Responds To Jay Electronica's Kendrick Diss, Jay Claps Backs Feb 16, 2016 at 10:05am
Over the weekend, things took a turn for the strange when Jay Electronica's Periscope stream resulted in a diss against Kendrick Lamar (and a threat to slap 50 Cent). At first it didn't really seem like Jay Elect was dissing Kendrick, in fact he appeared to be defending him against his fans, before later alleging Kendrick's his son.

Taking to twitter Monday night, TDE president Top Dawg tweeted out, "Pray 4 @jayrock he had a bad accident on his motorcycle.. Ab-Soul: "This Bench Is Getting Warm As Fuck"
Ab-Soul: "This Bench Is Getting Warm As Fuck" Feb 8, 2016 at 06:16pm
Top Dawg Entertainment’s stable of emcees is one of the best in the game. However, it can be tough to keep everyone happy with so many mouths to feed, so to speak. Ab-Soul is the only artist of the bunch who hasn’t released a critically-acclaimed and widely promoted album. His last project, These Days… came out after ScHoolboy Q’s widely popular Oxymoron but it didn’t receive nearly same amount of promotion. The same goes for Jay Rock’s 90059 and any of Kendrick Lamar’s albums.
