Talib Kweli stays in the studio. The rapper released a new album, Gravitas, in December, which itself had quickly followed up Prisoner Of Conscious. Now we've got word he's got yet another project on his plate, this time a joint effort with prolific producer 9th Wonder.
You may recall Kweli had an appearance on the recent Jamla Is The Squad compilation, put together by 9th Wonder & co., and now they'll be taking things to the next level with a full-length release, tentatively titled B.A.D. (Build And Destroy Gang).
Talib broke the news during an interview with 106 KMEL, saying, "The idea is that you have an album like The Chronic… there hasn’t been a conscious or thematically positive album that has struck a chord like The Chronic and that’s what we are trying to create."
