Talib Kweli's compilation album "Indie 500" with 9th Wonder coming soon

Talib Kweli and 9th Wonder's compilation album Indie 500 is coming soon. A couple weeks ago we heard "Pay Ya Dues," now we get a sneak peak at another appetizing release -- Talib Kweli and Rapsody's "Every Ghetto," produced by Hi-Tek.

The song is all about empowering impoverished black neighborhoods. Between the subject matter and gospel choir cry that serves as the beat's foundation, "Every Ghetto" bears a strong resemblance to Talib's immortal classic "Get By." They premiered the song on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon earlier this week, it is really the sort of song that's been in The Roots' wheelhouse for 30 years.

Check out the recently released Indie 500tracklist here to see what the album has in store.

Quotable Lyrics

We packing precious metals
Our shit is next level
We raise the threat level
