Pittsburgh has become quite the hotbed for talent over the past few years. Joining the list of emcees that includes Wiz Khalifa, Mac Miller, and Chevy Woods, Tairey is looking to be his hometown's next big thing. On "Zodiac," he makes a clear case for why he very well may reach that status. A smooth cut lyrically-driven by tales of personal struggle, this one may just require multiple listens. The visuals, too, are impressive. While a traditional performance video that showcases the emcee around his block, the cinematographer elevates the imagery to the next level with more than a few well-composed frames.
