D'Angelo snuck into the end of 2014 with his first album in 15 years. While the record was universally acclaimed, fans have been patiently awaiting the live debut of the Black Messiah material, which came last night on Saturday Night Live.

D'angelo dropped his first album in 15 years in December, and since then the world has been waiting to hear the new material in a live setting. Thankfully, the Voodoo mastermind is heading out on tour in February, but not before he stops by SNL for a televised performance.
