T-Pain is ready to make a comeback. The pitch-corrected Rappa Ternt Sanga has an ambitious North American tour planned, which will hopefully be followed (or even preceded?) by his upcoming album, Stoicville: The Phoenix.
In an interview with VladTV, T-Pain sat down and talked about the disparity between the emergence of "gay-friendly" acts in Hip-Hop, directly citing Frank Ocean and Macklemore, and his perception of Urban Music's reluctance to accomodate the LGBT community. Of this, T-Pain commented, saying:
The Batiste Brothers, a legendary New Orleans jazz group has issued a lawsuit against DJ Khaled, Rick Ross, Ace Hood, T-Pain, Pitbull and Cash Money for an astonishing $100 million (eight zeros) for using their music, and lyrics in countless songs.
Rocko has recently been subjected to a lot of attention regarding his song "U.O.E.N.O.", which Rick Ross spit some controversial lines over. The ATL rapper has now decided to weigh in on another, relatively less pressing controversy, which is T-Pain's recent critique of fellow auto-tune abuser, Future.
T-Pain is well-known for his use of auto-tune, and recently took to Instagram to throw some shots at fellow pitch-correction abuser Future. The rapper turnt singer poked fun at the Bugatti used in the video for the Ace Hood-helmed track that Future sings the hook on.
