Chicago native Spenzo has been on a roll this January. Having already dropped off four new tracks this month-- the most recent being the Tree-assisted "Doin' Lines" -- he gives us a new one by the name of "Dripping In Gold" (not to be confused with Gucci Mane's "Dipped In Gold").
In the artwork for Spenzo's newest song, a booming track called "Feelings," we see a 3D depiction of a cartoon heart sitting in the middle of a bear trap. The track's message is clear, even before you press play: feelings can be dangerous and entrapping at times.
Just last week Spenzo was on HNHH with his new record "Head," and taking no breaks he returns again this week with "Choppa City." The 808 Mafia-produced joint features Bloody Jay and is sufficiently trappy, as Spenzo details life in his part of town.
New Meek Mill verse alert! Since MMG's Philly representative was freed from jail last week, we haven't heard a new verse from him, but that changes now. After sharing a first version of "I'm So Sorry" with Young Thug in October, Spenzo now gives an alternate version that features Meek and Maine Man.
In the past, Spenzo's entertained us with freestyles over "Type Of Way," "OG Bobby Johnson" and "The Devil Is A Lie," and now he comes back with a new one over Jeezy's Cardo-produced banger, "Seen It All."
Spenzo recruits Young Thug for his latest leak "I'm So Sorry" off his upcoming mixtape Ahead Of My Time, with Thugga handling the hook. This Honorable C-Note-produced cut is about the relentless and unapologetic paper chase. It's been deemed single material and thus it's available to purchase on iTunes.
Rising Chicago rapper Spenzo dropped his In Spenzo We Trust mixtape last summer, which featured production from notable beatmakers like DJ Dahi, Young Chop, Sonny Digital, Metro Boomin, Honorable C-Note and more.
