Eminem dropped a bomb on the rap world yesterday with his new hit "Rap God."
Whether you agree with him or not on that front, one things for certain; Em won't come to mind when we start thinking about "Sneaker Gods." You got to give credit where credit is due though, and the man has his own custom Jordan 2's and 4's.
We're not ready to declare him a "Sneaker God", by any stretch of the imagination, but take a look at the best of Marshall's kicks from his Slim Shady days to his "looking lit in the booth with Brent Musburger" days, and let us know how you feel about it.
The A-list celebrity power couple, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, love to be in the media and that includes creating a buzz in social media as well.
Kim stunted to her sneaker fanatic followers on Instagram by showing off a pair of her boyfriend's newest sneaker, the Red October Yeezy 2. She captioned the photo by saying:
October has been anticipated by a lot of sneakerheads this year with the anticipation of the all red Nike Yeezy 2 colorway possibly dropping during the month.
There is no release information yet on the shoe but it appears that the kick is coming soon based on a photo that former NFL star Ochocinco posted on his Instagram account today. Earlier in the day he uploaded a photo of a pair of the red Yeezys on top of the newly designed Nike Sportswear box with the caption "Red Octobers...".
NBA preseason is in full swing and there's no happier person than the basketball fan who also has an affinity for sneakers. A sweet pair of kicks can be the icing on the cake of a posterizing dunk, ankle breaking crossover, or game winning shot. In the opening games we saw LeBron wear multiple sneakers, though no sign of his much anticipated signature shoe the LeBron 11. As always, Jordan's were prevalent, and foamposites continued to surface.

One of the most recognizable sneakers in the past few years is the Nike Air Yeezy 2 and it has popped back into the news with the "Red October" colorway and now this sample pair.
Cyhi the Prynce showed off a pair of Yeezy 2s on his Instagram account today that featured black leather instead of the mesh material on the upper that was used on the retail released pair. Another thing worth noting is that the GOOD Music artist captioned the photo by calling this pair the first ever Yeezy 2 made.
With the sneakerhead culture invading American Culture more and more each day, it seems no one is immune from hopping on board the sneaker collecting bandwagon. From athletes to actors, rappers to even pro wrestling star Hulk Hogan, more and more celebrities are taking to social media to share their sneaker collections with the world.

Kanye West has always had an eye for fashion, it's like he said before he had it he closed his eyes and imagined. Aside from being a rapper Kanye has an undeniable talent for creating shoes. From his colabs with Nike, Louis Vuitton, Reebok, Bape, and Giuseppe, Kanye has always had his creative mind in the shoe game. With Ye's style and persona having so much influence over sneakerheads and fashionheads alike its only right we explore the top 5 sneakers designed by Yeezy himself.
This past weekend we saw the release of the "Cherry Blossom" or "Thermal Map" Foamposite. While receiving several other less tasteful nicknames over the time the shoes were first release, it didn't stop many Sneakerheads from stopping in store to purchase this latest Nike Sportswear launch.
Ludacris himself didn't hold back, picking his pair up and immediately lacing them up for his court-side appearance. Do the shoes on feet change anyone's mind? Or is the shoe a complete pass? Let us know using the cop or not feature!
40 years ago, Timberland created the iconic 6 inch boot. Popularized not only by the working man, but by the artists that made the boot true streetwear, its hard to meet anyone that hasn't at one time owned a pair of Timberlands.
Released in individually numbered pairs, each boot comes complete with a wooden box, lookbook, and the premium quality expected from the Timberland brand. Retailing for $220, you can purchase a pair from retailers like Kith.
Like the famous Jordan XI "Bred" model, the Lebron XI dons the Black-Red colorway. While the colorway is officially "Bright Crimson" its hard to not compare this model to Jordan's most iconic "Playoff" colorway. Granted the fact that the Miami Heat and Chicago Bulls share the same primary colors, we can only speculate what this shoe could mean in the future, especially if Lebron continues his dominance in the NBA.
While its best to focus on the present, fans of this colorway can pick up a pair for themselves on November 1st for a retail price of $200.
R. Kelly performed at the 10th anniversary for Rehab Las Vegas donning the typical ridiculous attire we've seen from artists anywhere near a red carper. While its not exactly Riff Raff's Pink Guccis or 2 Chainz Versace Suit, we're putting R.Kelly up there with worst of them.
Drake the type of guy to wear a r shirt with Jaden Smith's face on it... seriously. Drake rocked an interesting graphic T at the iHeartRadio music festival sporting the face of Will Smith's son across the front.
Paired with a clean pair of all-white Anniversary Jordan 9s, the look certainly is clean, although we're not sure if we want Jaden Smith graphic t-shirts becoming a trend.
What do you think of Drake's outfit for his performance? Rate it yourself using the cop or not feature!
Michael Jordan's original Jordan retros already command a hefty price, but the rarity of these original pairs combined with the signature of the man himself only makes these Jordan's that much more desiriable.
Only a handful of retros ever come up for sale sporting Jordan's autograph, and these Nike Air embellished Fire Red 4s are, despite being worn, still in great shape. Preserved from 1989, the shoes exhibit perfectly why this retro is still relevant today.
DJ Clark Kent's famous '112' colorway has found its way onto the Lebron X. Mache went to work on this pair, making sure every detail of the shoe matched the infamously limited Clark Kent creations.
Starting with a 3m reflective upper, Mache added in elephant print trim around the toe box, and custom insoles that include Brookyln's area code as well as the telephone booth Clark Kent would emerge as Superman from. Neon green of course completes the custom, which looks like it could be an official production.
Mache is quickly becoming arguably the most recognizable sneaker customizer today. He has made special edition customs for some big names such as Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and now Chris Brown.
Mache hooked up with Chris Brown to transform the Jordan 1 into something special for the music superstar. He stayed true to the classic black and red color scheme but put in a striped pattern on the upper and Brown's initials on the heels of both shoes.
What do you guys think of this new custom from Mache and would you pay for a Mache custom?
Riff Raff showed off his custom Jordan 1 Mids, dubbed the "Real Boy" Jordan 1s. Complete with Carolina Blue Laces and a self portait along the paneling, the shoe features an array of colors swirled across the upper as well as "Riff Raff" in flowing cursive writing.
The seven second vine is hardly long enough to explain the exact meaning, if any, behind these custom Jordan 1s, but they certainly beat those Pink Gucci High Tops he rocked to the VMAs.
Created by theshoesurgeon, these baby-sized Nike Air Yeezy 2s will be perfect for Kanye West's child. Created from scratch, this custom made size 10c toddler shoe is an near perfect replica of what Kanye's signature sneaker would look like in crib sizes.
From the gold lace tips to the glow in the dark skull, every detail has been recreated in spectacular fashion. We aren't sure if this custom sneaker was done just as a fun project or if it will be sent to Kanye West. Either way, this is one of the coolest works we've seen.
Would you want your child in a pair of these?
