Since its original release in 1995, fans of both Reebok and The Big Aristotle himself have been clamoring for a re-release. Ealier this year, their cries were answered, as Reebok teased images of a Shaqnosis retro that were scheduled for a 2013 re-release. Finally, the day came, and as the online shop link dropped at 12:00 am sharp this Friday, thousands rushed to the site for their chance to own an iconic shoe. The Shaqnosis sold out in all sizes over the course of a half an hour, and Twitter feeds exploded with sneakerheads celebrating their most recent pickup.
Last night on SNL Kanye West laced up a pair of Air Yeezy 2's in an all red "Raging Bull" colorway. While sneakerblogs lit up with the possibility these would release, others were skeptical. First of all, Kanye West is allowed to design a shoe with Nike every 2 years. Last year we saw the Yeezy 2, which would slate the Yeezy 3 for a 2014 release. While Kanye's exact contract is not available, one would think if a new colorway were to be available to the public, we would have seen it before the end of 2012.
