Red October continues to haunt us, this time The Game go into the action with a sizzling hot pair of "Red October" Air Jordan 11s. The pair, complete with a snakeskin for patent leather swap, also features the iconic gold tip laces found on the Yeezy II. Black inner lining and branding at the 3rd lace slot serve as the only contrast from these bloody onslaught. No word on who's responsible for the design, but hopefully there are more pics out there.
Jets quarterback Geno Smith had a huge weekend. Yesterday, he topped Drew Brees and the Saints to help the Jets improve to 5-4.
Earlier in the weekend, he attended the Brooklyn Nets vs. Miami Heat game, and drew a lot of attention from the sneaker community when he rocked his pair of Red October Yeezy 2's. He later gave a more detailed look of the kicks on instagram in case you wanted the full view.
Fellow Jets rookie Dee Milliner was also at the game in a pair of Space Jams. The Jets rookies are something to look out for on and off the field!
Still no "Red October" Yeezy 2's, but we do have a "Red October" Yeezy 1 courtesy of JBF Customs. According to JBF's site, the sneaker was reconstructed using two finished of genuine red python with patent leather accents and crushed velvet line, giving these kicks a somewhat romantic feel. Or maybe thats just from those rose pedals.
This creative custom comes to us courtesy of Ammoskunk. If you can't hold out any longer for the Red October Yeezy 2's, these are the next best thing.
The base of this custom is the Air Jordan 4 "Toro Bravo", but the tongue, laces, heel and midfoot strap all take on the iconic Yeezy look making for a custom that will make you do a double, or triple, take.
