• This Saturday, we'll be dropping Maineyy's brand new mixtape From The Basement exclusively on HNHH. Leading up to that, we've been introducing you to the basketball-star-turned-rapper with songs like "Not Convinced" and "All Things Loyal" over the past few weeks.
  • Over the last few weeks, we've been steady feeding you new joints from Boston duo StupidGenius, including their singles "Chosen" and "Nesquik". Today we get a new banger called "Hit My Line" and it goes hard. The snare-fest begs the ultimate question; WHY THE FUCK IS YOU CALLING? Like, send a text homie, it's 2014.
  • A couple weeks ago, we introduced you to Maineyy, an up-and-coming emcee making a name for herself in the game.
  • Last week, we introduced you to SpiT-Tacular and his Lex Luger-assisted track "100th Time". Today we get a new cut from the kid called "Young Kid" from Spit. This one's got a different vibe and finds Yung Spit talking about his progression as an artist and a man.
  • Today we have a HNHH debut from New Jersey artist RetroI$Awesome called "Insane". He makes his HNHH debut with the string and drum-laden banger produced by Zoe.
  • SpiT-Tacular hails from the Midwest, right outside of Chicago, and he makes his HotNewHipHop debut today with "100th Time". The 20-year-old emcee has a lightning quick flow on the song, and gets a major league feature from Lex Luger, who blesses the chorus and lays down a verse of his own.
  • Chudi hails from Dallas, Texas and makes his HotNewHipHop debut today with "D.O.D." The moving song paints a troubling picture of what's really going on in the streets down South, and everywhere else for that matter.
  • DMV trio Black Coal make their HotNewHipHop debut today with "Gold Gated Villa." The catchy track features frequent Logic collaborator C Dot Castro and production from xXx. The song is a maze of wordplay and metaphors, as each emcee takes turns showing off their lyrical prowess.
  • Last week, we introduced you to StupidGenius from Lowell, Massachusetts, and their song "Chosen". The duo of Boston University grads, Chaz King and Lil Rich, are gearing up to drop their mixtape StupidGenius: The Mixtape, and today we get the second track from the project, entitled "Nesquik".
  • While Connecticut hasn't traditionally been a hotbed for hip-hop music (with the exception of underground legend Apathy), recently things have been looking up.
  • Earlier this year, we profiled Florida-native Bukkweat Bill as part of our On The Come Up series, as well as his Relax Rekords counterpart J $tash. Since then, Bukk's been fairly quiet on the new music front while he works on the Relax Gang compilation project, until today...
  • Chaz King and Lil Rich make up the duo StupidGenius, straight out of Lowell, Massachusetts. Though Boston hasn't had too many rappers break through nationally, the scene is alive and well thanks to young up-and-comers like SG.
  • Alex Arod is a rapper slash producer from Richmond, Virginia. A member of the group DFTH (acronym for Down for the Hood), Alex has been recording since 2009. With two mixtapes already under his belt, he released his latest offering Virginia Is For Hustlers earlier this year.
  • Talk about a dual threat. Maineyy is not only a dope MC, but quite the baller. We don’t mean that figuratively, like she’s pushing a nice whip or her wrists are iced out. We mean it literally, as in she balls.
  • Brandy kicks off 2014 with a new joint titled "Cigarette", a love track which may or may not concern her fiancee Ryan Press.  Can you relate?  Quotable Lyrics
  • A repurposed single from New Orleans singer/songwriter August Alsina, featuring Memphis emcee Yo Gotti with production from Knucklehead. The cut was previously released with a verse from Atlanta's Rich Homie Quan on Alsina's debut EP, Downtown Life Under The Gun.
