  • Naming a track after Wu-Tang Clan is a pretty ballsy and confident move, but luckily for KANEDA, one of this week's Heatseekers, his music also bears those two characteristics. Add in a flute-led, RZA-esqe beat, and he really earns the right to the Wu-Tang reference. KANEDA describes his music:
  • Jimmy Graves puts on for his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana on "317," named for the city's area code.
  • Laso placed among out top 4 heatseekers earlier this year, and the rapper has wasted no time in releasing new music since. Gracing us with the banging "Woah" at the top of the month, the Los Angeles emcee has now dropped a new collaboration with Sean Brown called "How You Do It".
  • The first of our four Heatseeker tracks this weekend comes from Persyce, who has offered the following description of himself:
  • C-Murder's "Down For My Niggas" may be the ingle most interpolated song in the last decade of hip hop, and for good reason.
