  • Caleb is a 22-year-old rapper and producer. His colorful production style comes from his interest in a variety of genres, which lends to his unique sound. Listening to "Rich Niggas", it seems that the rapper has been crafting this for some time, playing like a seasoned artist.

  • Nile Ross was one of our stronger Heatseekers, making it to the Final Four in edition 29. He's been sending us the new music he's working on lately for his forthcoming album, and it's on-point, not to mention, self-produced. Check out his latest leak "The Crew" below which has DJ Mustard-inspired production.
  • The BeatKnox are a rap and R&B group out of Southern California. They've adopted DJ Mustard's clubby approach to R&B, creating their own version of the sound we've heard on hits like "Show Me", "24 Hours" and "2 On".
  • Up-and-coming Florida Rapper "YS" delivers another new banger today, unleashing his brand new single, "High With Me".
  • Our last Heatseeker of the weekend comes courtesy of $osa, AKA Christopher Oden from Pittsburgh,PA. Only 21 years old, he claims to have started the "#BurghMusic movement," which he mentions a few times on "Fuck A Hook."
  • Bump Tears of Joy (Prod. by David B.A.N.G.), the latest cut from Rasean Douja. It dropped on Wednesday, December 4th, 2013. Rasean Douja's horizons are broadening with each new release, and Tears of Joy (Prod. by David B.A.N.G.) is no exception.
  • Naming a track after Wu-Tang Clan is a pretty ballsy and confident move, but luckily for KANEDA, one of this week's Heatseekers, his music also bears those two characteristics. Add in a flute-led, RZA-esqe beat, and he really earns the right to the Wu-Tang reference. KANEDA describes his music:
  • Jimmy Graves puts on for his hometown of Indianapolis, Indiana on "317," named for the city's area code.
  • Laso placed among out top 4 heatseekers earlier this year, and the rapper has wasted no time in releasing new music since. Gracing us with the banging "Woah" at the top of the month, the Los Angeles emcee has now dropped a new collaboration with Sean Brown called "How You Do It".
  • The first of our four Heatseeker tracks this weekend comes from Persyce, who has offered the following description of himself:
  • This weekend's crop of Heatseekers kicks off with Daylieboi's "The Cocky Song," a Houston-style chopped and screwed production, by way of A$AP Rocky's more modern update on that sound.
  • Just to let y'all know, we've changed our Heatseekers format a little bit. There won't be any more voting, and instead we'll be selecting four artists to feature each weekend. Look out for four new Heatseekers tracks on the homepage every weekend. You can submit your music here.
