Nipsey Hussle made his way from the West Coast to New Jersey last weekend in order to grace the Summer Jam Festival Village stage. Although the rapper is by no means a newcomer at this point, we've still yet to receive a debut album from Nip.

After releasing his highly successful Crenshaw mixtape for $100 a pop, Nipsey Hussle is gearing up for Victory Lap, his debut album that will most likely be sold for a more reasonable price. In a new interview with XXL, Hussle spoke on the new project:

Last week we received an early leak off this DJ Mustard-produced cut from Nipsey Hussle "Where Yo Money At", however it was clean and unofficial at the time. Today DJ V.i.P. has given HNHH the green light to let go the dirty version of the track without the LA Leaker tags.

Nipsey Hussle has been holding down the west coast for some time, so it was only a matter of time before he hopped on a DJ Mustard beat of his own. "Where Your Money", a taste of his upcoming mixtape with Young & Reckless finds him doing just that.

Nipsey Hussle's Crenshaw movement was definitely a successful one, he sold plenty of copies of his $100 album, which was also available for free download, and continued the movement with a "Crenshaw" tour.

As broken by AllHipHop, the Chicago stop on Nipsey Hussle's ongoing "Proud 2 Pay" tour took a violent turn when shots were fired near his tour bus. It's also been reported that Nipsey's friend and collaborator Rimpau was stabbed in the chest and taken to hospital with a punctured lung.

Following the success of his $100 mixtape, Crenshaw, Nipsey Hussle is taking things on the road for a tour. Nipsey Hussle's "Crenshaw" tour will start in Sacremento, California on January 9th, and will continue on until February, where he'll wrap things up in Albuquerque, Texas.

Nipsey Hussle made an appearance on The Breakfast Club, where he talked at length about his Proud2Pay $100 album campaign.

Nipsey Hussle has expressed frustration with the music industry recently, but it seems his problems extend towards rap criticism as well. After being approached for an interview with Complex, the rapper initially blew the publication off, tweeting that it would cost them $10,000 for a sit down.

Nipsey Hussle turned a lot of heads (Jay Z's included) when he decided to sell physical copies of his Crenshaw mixtape at $100 a piece last week, but his success at doing so turned out to be the most surprising part.
