  • Cozz dropped off his debut project, Cozz & Effect, on iTunes at Midnight. The new album from the Dreamville signee contains 12 joints, with J. Cole appearing on this remix of Cozz's "Can't Knock The Hustle." Fellow Dreamville rapper Bas also makes an appearance on the track "I Need That."
  • Cozz has seen a sudden rise to fame thanks to a deal with J. Cole's Dreamville imprint, although we still haven't heard much music from the MC. However, everything he has dropped so far has been pure fire, and thus a pretty good indication of why Cole signed him in the first place.
  • It's been a big year for South Central L.A.'s Cozz, who recently signed to J. Cole's Dreamville imprint. After releasing his video for "Dreams" back in March, the MC had labels calling him nonstop, and he seems to have chosen a good one.
  • We first came across the South Central native Cozz with his music video for "Dreams." It was the unsigned rapper's very first official release, and was (perhaps surprisingly) strong.
