Leave it to Childish Gambino to rely on those itchy keyboardists at Reddit to uncover a secret track from his recent Kauai EP. Fans of EP, which is now streaming on Spotify, may have found themselves scratching their head at the almost all-instrumental remix of "3005" found at the project's tail end.
Earlier today, Childish Gambino dropped off the STN MTN mixtape, the first part of a joint mixtape/EP drop he planned for today. The other part, the KAUAI EP, hasn't arrived on iTunes yet, but a track from it just surfaced on SoundCloud.
Earlier this morning we posted a news article which found Childish Gambino explaining the mixtape/EP idea behind his new project STN MTN/KAUAI, which is half free mixtape and half commercial EP. Well, this a nice surprise as we lead into the weekend! Childish Gambino comes through, outta nowhere, with his new mixtape STN MTN, the other half of which, KAUAI, is an EP that will be available on iTunes later today.
Calling all of Childish Gambino's female fans -- you may soon get the chance to see your boy play a stripper in a movie. Today they've announced the final date in their reunion tour, which appropriately enough wraps up in their native Atlanta.
Last year, UK producer S-X apparently worked on a track with Childish Gambino that never ended up seeing the light of day, but now the beatsmith is fed up. On Saturday, he tweeted:

Featuring one of my favourite rappers.
