Khloe Kardashian and French Montana have had their ups and downs in their relatively new relationship.

It has clearly been a tough year for rappers when it comes to love. In 2014, we saw some very long-term relationships, marriages and short flings sadly come to an end, some of which were really unexpected.

The past few months have not been kind to high profile couples in the hip-hop/R&B worlds, as Tyga and Blac Chyna, Ciara and Future and most recently, Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose have all called it quits at some point (Ciara and Future got back together though).

As humans, we were glad Khloe Kardashian bounced back from a troubled relationship with ex-husband Lamar Odom, only to find new love with rapper French Montana. As hip hop fans, we were looking forward to what may come of French and Kanye West spending a lot of quality family time together, possibly in the studio.

Like with any break-up, when it first occurs the fresh wound stings, but as time passes we learn to accept fate. Over the past few decades, exceptional hip-hop groups have come and gone.

Back on August 13th, we reported that R&B power couple Future and Ciara had broken off their engagement after Future allegedly cheated on his "Body Party" collaborator with another woman.

This week is not turning out to be a good one for some our favorite hip-hop power couples. Yesterday we received news that Tyga had broken things off with his fiancee and baby mama Blac Chyna, and now more gossip arrives this morning reporting that Ciara has called it quits with her baby daddy, Future.

Looks like T-Raww is a single man for the first time in three years. TMZ is reporting that he recently broke things off with his longtime fiancé (and baby mama), Blac Chyna.

The response and sales for Mariah Carey's latest body of work, Me. I Am Mariah… The Elusive Chanteuse has been pretty lackluster, as we reported she initially sold 58,000 copies opening week, but quickly fell off the Billboard 200. It now has total sales of only 103,000 copies.

Chris Brown has been spotted yachting out in St. Tropez, but he's missing his main chick Karrueche Tran . As it turns out, that's because the aspiring model has dumped C Breezy, and in turn, Brown reportedly took one of Karrueche's friends with him to St. Tropez instead.

Rumors about a divorce continue to fly around Beyonce and Jay Z, and with that comes reports from NYPost's Page Six that Bey was shopping for a $21.5 million apartment in Chelsea without Jay.

It seems the relationship between Busta Rhymes and Cash Money was a short-lived one. Today Bussa Bus has announced his departure from the Birdman-helmed record label. 

Not strictly hip-hop news, but it's making the rounds today across Twitter and the blogs: Naya Rivera married her new boyfriend just three months after breaking things off with Big Sean.

It was only two months ago that we reported on Drake and Rihanna dating "exclusively", following several public outings from the couple. Now US Weekly reports that the couple are no more, or at least, they're on a break.
