For those of you who are unable to attend Beyonce & Jay Z’s “On The Tour” this summer, today is your lucky day. HBO has just announced that they will air a special television concert of the show this Fall called "On The Run Tour: Jay Z and Beyoncé."
According to Billboard.com, Nielsen SoundScan’s R&B/Hip Hop charts reports that album sales for R&B/Hip Hop are down 19 percent from this time last year. In 2013, 23.7 million albums were sold as opposed to this year’s 19.13 million.
Today, Forbes Magazine released their annual list of the 100 "World's Most Powerful Celebrities," and eleven stars in the Hip-Hop/R&B worlds were included. Four made the top ten, and the other seven were also all in the top 50.
Power couple Jay Z and Beyonce plan to dominate all summer with their "On The Run" joint tour. The couple officially kicked off the tour last night in Florida, and the opening show for the tour has set expectations high for all those shows to come.
After Beyoncé's "Life Is But A Dream" documentary drew HBO's largest viewership for a music-oriented special since 2003, it only seemed obvious that the channel's programmers would find a way to capitalize on the diva once again.
Beyonce adds yet another magazine cover to her repertoire, covering T Magazine from the New York Times. The pop star was photographed by Juergen Teller for the publication, and sticks to casual looks for the shoot.
